The Winchester 1892 Carbine in .44 Rem Mag is a lever-action rifle that brings classic American gunmaking into the modern era. Built on the proven 1892 platform, this carbine delivers the smooth, fast cycling that made Winchester lever guns legendary among hunters, sport shooters, and anyone who appreciates timeless rifle handling. The .44 Rem Mag chambering offers plenty of power for hunting and range work, while the compact 20-inch barrel keeps the overall package manageable and portable—ideal for brush hunting, horseback use, or just enjoying a rifle that handles like a dream.

Winchester outfitted this carbine with Grade I walnut in a traditional straight-grip configuration, topped with a deeply blued receiver, barrel, and lever for a classic appearance that doesn't sacrifice durability. The steel crescent buttplate and steel end cap are built to last through years of use. Sighting is straightforward: an adjustable rear buckhorn sight and Marble Arms front sight with gold bead work together to get you on target quickly in most hunting and range scenarios.

A 10-round magazine keeps you loaded for extended shooting sessions, and the lever-action mechanism is as reliable as they come. If you're after a rifle with proven ergonomics, genuine Winchester heritage, and the kind of balance and pointability that lever guns are known for, the 1892 Carbine deserves a close look.
