The Weatherby Vanguard Weatherguard .270 Win rifle brings serious hunting capability to the field without the premium price tag. This bolt-action rifle pairs a burnt bronze cerakoted barrel and action with a striking black polymer stock accented by bronze webbing—a look that's equal parts rugged and refined. Hand-fitted during assembly, each rifle is dialed in for reliable accuracy and rock-solid stability, making it a natural choice for hunters pursuing deer, elk, and other medium to large game across varied terrain and weather.

The .270 Winchester chambering is a proven cartridge that delivers flat trajectory, manageable recoil, and plenty of downrange energy for hunting applications. Weatherby backs the accuracy with a sub-MOA guarantee (0.99" or less for a 3-shot group at 100 yards when paired with Weatherby factory or premium ammunition)—a confidence-builder that separates this rifle from entry-level competitors. The adjustable match-quality two-stage trigger gives you a clean break and fine control, whether you're threading a shot through timber or settling in at longer range.

Built to endure, the Vanguard Weatherguard features a cold hammer-forged barrel, integral recoil lug, and burnt bronze cerakote finish engineered to shrug off weather and corrosion. The one-piece machined bolt body is fluted and wears a fully enclosed bolt sleeve for reliability in field conditions. A 3-position safety, hinged floorplate, and right-side palm swell complete the practical, hunter-friendly design. At 24" barrel length, the Weatherguard strikes a balance between velocity and handling—short enough to maneuver in brush and vehicles, long enough to make the most of the .270's ballistics.

If you're building a serious hunting rifle without stretching the budget, the Vanguard Weatherguard delivers the accuracy, ergonomics, and weather protection you need to get the job done season after season.
