Weatherby 307 ADVENTURE SD 240WBY 26 - High-Performance All-Terrain Adventure Gear
- Barrel Length:
- 26"
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 240 Weatherby Magnum
The Weatherby 307 Adventure SD in 240 Weatherby Magnum with a 26-inch barrel brings together classic rifle aesthetics and modern platform versatility for serious hunters and range shooters. Built on Weatherby's contemporary Model 307 bolt-action platform, this rifle combines a traditionally styled fancy walnut stock with a current-generation action designed to work with today's aftermarket ecosystem. If you want a rifle that honors rifle-building heritage while staying compatible with modern accessories and optics, the 307 Adventure SD splits that difference.
The Model 307 action uses a 2-lug fully cylindrical design—a foundation that opens the door to a wide range of stocks, triggers, rails, mounts, and magazines currently available in the marketplace. That modular approach means you're not locked into Weatherby-only upgrades or limited to what ships from the factory. The 26-inch barrel wears a fluted profile and Graphite Black Cerakote finish, and the receiver, bolt, bolt knob, and safety all carry the same tough Cerakote coating—built to handle backcountry conditions and the elements.
Stock-wise, you're looking at genuine fancy walnut with a rosewood forend and grip cap accented by maple diamond inlay and spacers. It's the kind of furniture detail you notice and appreciate in hand, and it gives the rifle a presence that pure tactical polymer simply doesn't match. Whether your adventure is a long-range hunting expedition or precision work at the bench, the 240 Weatherby Magnum round offers the ballistic capability to reach out, and the 307 platform gives you the flexibility to tune it your way.
