The Troy Industries Tritium Rear Folding BattleSight for AR-15 is a battle-hardened backup iron sight designed to keep you in the fight when your primary optic fails. Built for serious shooters who understand that a quality iron sight isn't redundancy—it's insurance. This rear folding sight pairs rugged, proven mechanics with smart ergonomics to deliver a reliable sighting solution that doesn't complicate your rifle setup.

Flip-up operation is rock-solid: the sight deploys under powerful spring pressure with two locking detent balls holding it firmly in place until you deliberately press the spring-loaded button on the left side of the base. That intentional-action design means brush, gear, or accidental contact won't fold your sight mid-engagement. The HK-style aperture configuration gives you two same-plane options—a wide .190" aperture for close work and speed, plus a .070" aperture dialed for distance shooting. Protective "ears" shield the posts and apertures from impacts during transport or rough handling. Tritium inserts on each side of the large aperture keep your sight picture fast in low light, a genuine advantage when conditions deteriorate.

Installation is straightforward: the clamp base secures to any Picatinny rail (military or commercial spec) with a standard flathead screwdriver, and the compact design positions apertures at the same height as factory sights—no awkward eye relief issues or relearning your cheek weld. Hard-coat anodized finish resists wear and corrosion. No knobs or protruding levers to snag on a sling, pack, or brush. This is the kind of sight that works when called upon, then gets out of your way.
