The Tristar Viper G2 Pro Sporting Wood is a 12-gauge gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun built to handle everything from light target loads to heavy field ammunition without complaint. The 30" barrel and raised target rib make it a natural fit for clay sports—trap, skeet, and sporting clays—while the gas system's reliability and soft recoil characteristics earn it respect on the range and in the field. If you're serious about competitive shooting or want a versatile, well-balanced shotgun that won't beat you up after a day of shooting, this is a legitimate option worth considering.
Turkish walnut furniture with cut checkering and a semi-gloss finish gives the Viper G2 Pro a classic, working-gun aesthetic. The adjustable comb lets you dial in your sight picture for that perfect cheek weld, and the fiber optic front sight pairs with the matted rib to help you track targets crisply. A rubber recoil pad absorbs impact, and TriStar backs the mechanical components with a five-year warranty. The manual E-Z Load Magazine Cut-Off and quick shot plug removal keep operations simple and intuitive.
The removable choke system uses Beretta/Benelli Mobil threads—meaning you'll have access to a massive aftermarket ecosystem of tubes from other manufacturers. The gun ships with four extended choke tubes (Skeet, Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full), a choke box, and wrench, so you can start adapting to different ranges and game immediately. Standard shim kits let you fine-tune cast and drop to your frame. The chrome-lined chamber and barrel handle the volume and the elements, and the five-round magazine capacity suits clay and upland work equally well.
