The TriStar Viper G2 24132 is a 3-inch chamber gas-operated semi-automatic .410 shotgun built for shooters who want versatility without unnecessary weight. At 5.8 lbs, this 28-inch barrel gun handles everything from light target loads to heavy waterfowl ammunition—a rare capability in the .410 platform. The synthetic stock and forend, finished in a durable Soft Touch coating, provide a secure grip in wet or cold conditions while keeping maintenance simple. Whether you're hunting small game, working dove fields, or running clay targets, the Viper G2 delivers reliable performance in a compact, manageable platform that won't tire you out over a long day afield.

The semi-auto action cycles reliably across a wide load range thanks to the gas-operated system, and the bolt holds open after the last round—a practical feature for unloading and clearing. The manual E-Z Load magazine cut-off lets you decouple the magazine from the action, so you can eject a chambered shell without cycling in a fresh round. That's real-world convenience when you need to swap ammo types or clear the gun quickly. A chrome-lined chamber and barrel protect against corrosion, and shim kits come standard, letting you adjust the stock geometry to fit your frame. The vent rib with matted sight plane and fiber optic front sight give you a clean sight picture without glare.

Choke flexibility comes courtesy of the removable Beretta/Benelli Mobil-compatible system: three tubes (Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full) are included with a choke wrench and storage box. Swap them in seconds to dial in your pattern for different game or target presentations. The 5-round tubular magazine accepts a shot plug (included and pre-installed) for legal waterfowl loads, and removal is simple—just unscrew the cap. Swivel studs are drilled and tapped, so mounting a sling is straightforward. The safety blocks the trigger, hammer lever, and hammer when engaged, keeping the firing mechanism completely immobile.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use both light target loads and heavy waterfowl loads in the Viper G2?

Yes. The gas-operated system is designed to cycle reliably across a wide range of load velocities, from light target ammunition to full-power waterfowl rounds. This versatility is one of the Viper G2's standout strengths in the .410 platform.

What choke tubes are included, and are they compatible with other shotguns?

Three choke tubes come with the gun: Improved Cylinder, Modified, and Full. They use Beretta/Benelli Mobil-style threads, so they're compatible with other shotguns that share that standard. A choke wrench and storage box are included.

How do I safely unload just the chamber without cycling in a new shell?

Use the manual E-Z Load magazine cut-off, located on the action. Push the lifter up slightly and open the action—this decouples the magazine from the cycling mechanism, allowing you to eject the chambered shell without feeding a new one from the magazine.

Is the stock adjustable, and does it come with shim kits?

Yes, shim kits come standard with the Viper G2, allowing you to adjust the stock geometry for drop and cast to fit your shooting frame and comfort preferences.
