The TriStar Cobra III Marine 12ga pump action shotgun is a compact, reliable home-defense and tactical option built for close-quarters work. With its 18.5-inch barrel and lightweight 6.2-pound profile, this 12-gauge delivers the stopping power of a full-size shotgun without the bulk—making it ideal for home defense, tactical training, or confined-space shooting scenarios. The silver finish and marine-grade construction suggest durability in challenging conditions, and the pump action design offers the manual control and simplicity that serious shooters depend on when accuracy and reliability matter most.

At just over 18 inches of barrel, the Cobra III Marine trades some velocity for maneuverability. That shorter sight radius is a tradeoff, but in defensive situations where targets are close, the compact profile often matters more than long-range performance. The 12-gauge chambering gives you access to a huge variety of ammunition options—from buckshot to slugs to specialty loads—so you can tailor your shotgun to your exact mission.

The pump action cycle is straightforward and proven. There's no learning curve, no batteries to fail, no complex mechanisms to foul up. Rack, aim, shoot—and repeat. For shooters who want a dependable, no-nonsense shotgun that handles like a rifle and hits like a truck, the Cobra III Marine is a solid choice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Cobra III Marine suitable for home defense?

Yes. The compact 18.5-inch barrel and lightweight profile make it well-suited for home-defense applications where maneuverability in tight spaces is an advantage.

What ammunition can I use in this 12-gauge shotgun?

The 12-gauge chambering accepts standard 12-gauge ammunition in various loads—buckshot, slugs, birdshot, and specialty rounds—giving you flexibility for different purposes.

How does the pump action work?

The pump (or slide) is manually worked back and forth to cycle rounds. Pull the trigger to fire, then rack the pump backward to eject the spent shell and chamber the next round.

What does the CT-1 choke mean?

The CT-1 is the factory choke constriction included with the shotgun. Chokes control shot spread; this one is optimized for the shotgun's intended use profile.
