The TriStar Bristol 38020 is a side-by-side shotgun built for hunters and sport shooters who appreciate real craftsmanship without the premium price tag. This 20/28 gauge SBS combines traditional English aesthetics with modern reliability—a field-grade gun that won't leave you second-guessing your choice at the range or in the field. The case-colored receiver and select Turkish walnut stock give it the visual appeal of shotguns costing hundreds more, while the proven mechanics keep you focused on the shot.

What makes the Bristol stand out is its attention to detail where it counts. The steel frame is precision laser-engraved, and you get auto ejectors as standard—a feature that speeds up reloading and separates working guns from budget models. The chrome-lined chambers and barrels resist corrosion and extend barrel life, especially important if you hunt in wet conditions or salt spray. The single selective trigger is crisp and reliable, and the selective top tang safety sits where your thumb expects it.

The 20/28 gauge pairing is smart: you get the softer recoil and faster handling of the 20 gauge for upland work and closer shots, plus the 28 gauge barrel for when you want to dial in precision on smaller targets or when shooting conditions demand a tighter pattern. Both barrels come with five Beretta Mobil-style choke tubes (SK, IC, M, IM, F), so you can dial in the pattern you need without buying aftermarket tubes. The brass bead front sight is simple and proven—no batteries, no adjustments, just point and shoot.

TriStar backs the Bristol with a 5-year warranty, giving you peace of mind on a shotgun that's built to last.

Frequently Asked Questions

What gauge combination does the Bristol 38020 come with?

The Bristol 38020 features a 20 gauge barrel and a 28 gauge barrel. This pairing lets you choose between the slightly more powerful 20 gauge for general upland hunting and the lighter-recoiling 28 gauge for precision work or smaller game.

Are choke tubes included, and are they interchangeable with other shotguns?

Yes, five Beretta Mobil-style choke tubes are included with the Bristol: SK, IC, M, IM, and F. These are a common interchange standard, so you can swap them out for aftermarket options if you want, though the included set covers most hunting and sport-shooting situations.

Does the Bristol have auto ejectors?

Yes. The Bristol comes standard with auto ejectors, which kick out spent shells automatically when you open the action—a huge convenience and a mark of a quality side-by-side shotgun.

What kind of warranty does TriStar offer on the Bristol?

TriStar backs the Bristol with a 5-year warranty, covering defects in materials and workmanship.
