The Tactical Solutions X-Ring TSS is an integrally suppressed barrel purpose-built for 10/22 receivers, delivering genuinely quiet .22 LR shooting without the bulk of a traditional barrel-and-suppressor stack. If you're after a compact, accurate platform for hunting, target work, or casual plinking—and you want subsonic performance without the length penalty—this is a purpose-designed solution that handles suppression at the barrel level rather than bolting it on afterward.

Built from a chromoly steel bore with an 11-degree target crown, the X-Ring TSS pairs accuracy with practical suppression. The aluminum barrel body and titanium baffles keep overall weight to just 16 ounces, making it comfortable for extended shooting sessions and easy to move between positions. The split-tube design isn't just clever engineering—it matters: you can actually disassemble the barrel for internal cleaning without a gunsmith, which extends the life of the suppressor and keeps maintenance straightforward. Installation on existing X-Ring or 10/22-pattern receivers requires no gunsmithing; Tactical Solutions provides video guidance to walk you through it.

The bore measures 12.9 inches with a 1:16 twist rate and muzzle diameter of .920 to 1.00 inch, optimized for subsonic .22 LR. Overall length comes in at 16.75 inches, substantially shorter than a conventional barrel with a dedicated suppressor can threaded on—a real advantage if you're building a truck gun, a backyard plinker, or a hunting rifle where maneuverability matters. The barrel integrates titanium baffles and stainless steel components to handle repeated shooting and cleaning without degradation.

This is not a compromise product dressed up in marketing language. It's a specialized tool for shooters who've weighed the tradeoffs between suppressors and barrel length and decided that having both solved at once is worth the premium over traditional approaches.

Frequently Asked Questions

What receivers will this barrel fit?

The X-Ring TSS is designed for X-Ring and Ruger 10/22-pattern receivers. Installation requires no gunsmithing and Tactical Solutions provides video instructions to guide you through setup.

Can I disassemble this for cleaning?

Yes. The split-tube design with interlocking baffles allows you to break down the barrel for internal silencer cleaning and maintenance without special tools or a gunsmith visit.

How does the overall length compare to a standard barrel with a separate suppressor?

The X-Ring TSS measures 16.75 inches overall with the suppression integrated into the barrel. Traditional setups of a standard barrel plus a threaded suppressor typically result in significantly longer profiles, making this barrel a compact alternative for shooters who want to minimize length while shooting suppressed.

What ammunition should I use?

The barrel is optimized for subsonic .22 LR ammunition, with a 1:16 twist rate and 11-degree target crown designed for accuracy with standard-velocity and subsonic .22 rounds.
