The Sylvan Arms left-hand adapter fits standard AR15 platforms in .223/5.56, most 9mm uppers, and .308 rifles. It does not work with Tippmann 22 or LWRC pistols. Some 9mm bolt carriers with standard 5/8 ID sizing can use the included bolt extension after removing the pin and weight from your bolt carrier group. If you're unsure, contact us with your upper and BCG specs.

What's included and how hard is installation?

The adapter ships with a .625 aluminum bolt extension, a castle nut wrench, and all hardware needed for install. Yes. The Sylvan Arms adapter is compatible with JP Enterprise Silent Capture Buffer Springs right out of the box. It does not work with Armaspec Silent Capture systems.
