The Surefire M640V Infrared Scoutlight Pro is a dual-spectrum weapon light designed for rifle operators who need both white-light and infrared capability in a single compact unit. This rail-mounted light lets you switch between 350 lumens of white light and 120 mW of infrared output by rotating the bezel—no separate filters or accessories required. Built from lightweight aerospace aluminum with a mil-spec hard-anodized finish and O-ring seals, the M640V is engineered to withstand field use without adding unnecessary weight to your rifle.

The M640V ships with Surefire's new Low-Profile Mount (LPM), which attaches securely to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail or M-LOK slot. The low-profile design lets you position the light optimally relative to your rail and other accessories—a significant advantage when your setup includes additional optics or gear. The bezel-rotatable switching between white and IR means you can adapt to mission requirements instantly, making it equally useful for tactical training, night operations, and transitional scenarios.

Power comes from two CR123A lithium batteries, which Surefire regulates to maximize both output and runtime. The TIR (Total Internal Reflection) lens creates a far-reaching central beam with useful surround light, suitable for medium to longer-range work. The push-button tailcap switch is straightforward—no learning curve, just intuitive activation. Combined with the rugged construction and sealed design, the M640V delivers the versatility of a true dual-spectrum light in a form factor that doesn't compromise weapon handling or ergonomics.
