Steiner DBAL-D2 Green Laser (Black) - <5mW Laser, <.7mW IR Pointer, 600mW IR Illuminator
Steiner
The Steiner DBAL-A3 green laser is a compact dual-beam system that combines a visible green laser pointer with infrared laser and illumination capabilities in one rail-mounted unit. Built on the same platform as the military-issue DBAL-A3, this civilian model brings battlefield-proven technology to hunters, precision shooters, and tactical operators who need reliable target acquisition in low-light and no-light conditions. Whether you're working in darkness, fog, or poor visibility, the DBAL-A3 gives you redundant aiming solutions without bulky separate attachments.
The system pairs a green laser with dual infrared beams—a pointer for precision aiming and an adjustable illuminator for scanning and illumination at intermediate distances. The adjustable IR illumination is defocused to work effectively both at close quarters and across mid-range distances, solving the single-distance limitation of fixed IR illuminators. Dual activation switches, high/low power modes, and momentary or continuous firing (tap once for momentary, twice for 5-minute continuous) give you flexible control for different shooting scenarios. The visible laser operates reliably even in extreme cold down to -20°C, thanks to its direct diode design.
Built from 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum with MIL-SPEC Type III hard-anodized coating, the DBAL-A3 is tough enough for hard use and submersible to 10 meters for 2 hours. It mounts securely to any Picatinny rail using Steiner's self-adjusting Quick Release HT mount, and dual remote cable ports let you fire and override the laser from a remote switch. At 7.7 ounces with batteries, mount, and remote, it won't burden your setup. Low-profile windage and elevation adjusters let you dial in zero, and an activation indicator light shows you when the laser is on and battery status at a glance.
