The Sig Sauer P365X 9mm pistol is a compact carry gun engineered for shooters who demand serious capability in a package that disappears in your waistband. With a 3.1-inch barrel, Nitron-finished stainless steel slide, and a weight of just 18 oz, this is a concealed-carry workhorse that doesn't compromise on ergonomics or firepower. The XSeries grip module brings a modern, ergonomic foundation with an integrated carry magwell and extended beavertail—features that transform how naturally the gun sits in your hand during presentation and shooting.

What sets the P365X apart is the Romeo-X Compact red dot optic already installed and ready to run. Pairing a sub-compact frame with an optic-cut slide opens the door to faster target acquisition and superior sight picture, especially in lower light or at distance. The XRAY3 day/night sights are your backup—fixed, co-witness compatible, and always ready. The flat striker-fired trigger is predictable and clean, favoring control over surprise breaks, and the 4.9-inch sight radius gives you the optical real estate you need to shoot straight from this compact platform.

Sig ships the P365X with two magazines: you'll get your choice of 12-round or 10-round capacity per box, so verify which configuration you're receiving. The 9mm round means affordable training, abundant ammo availability, and manageable recoil even in rapid fire. At 6 inches overall length and 5.5 inches tall, this gun fits inside-the-waistband or appendix carry without printing or discomfort. The 1.1-inch width (about as thin as they come) makes sure you can tuck it away and actually carry it—not just admire it in a safe.

Whether you're a concealed-carry permit holder looking to upgrade, a new gun owner prioritizing shootability, or someone who wants an optic-ready duty pistol that doesn't require a full-size footprint, the P365X bridges the gap between capability and concealability that most other compacts claim but rarely deliver.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the red dot sight included, and will it work with the iron sights?

Yes, the Romeo-X Compact optic comes installed from the factory. The fixed XRAY3 iron sights are co-witness compatible, so they sit in your sight picture behind the optic window—you can shoot through the dots, or use the irons if the optic fails or needs service.

What magazines come in the box, and can I use other Sig P365 magazines?

You'll receive two steel magazines with your P365X; the shipment will specify whether you get 10-round or 12-round capacity. Check your order details or contact us to confirm which magazine configuration matches your purchase.

Is this a good concealed-carry gun for someone new to pistols?

The P365X is an excellent choice for new shooters and experienced carriers alike. The XSeries grip module is ergonomically refined, the included red dot sight makes target acquisition intuitive, and the lightweight 9mm round is controllable. The compact size (6 inches long, 1.1 inches wide) makes it genuinely concealable—not just theoretically. Pair it with quality holster and training, and you've got a serious carry gun.

How does this compare to a full-size pistol for accuracy at distance?

The 4.9-inch sight radius and 3.1-inch barrel put this in the concealed-carry class, not the precision-rifle realm. At typical defensive distances (7–25 yards), the Romeo-X optic and fixed sights will drive accurate fire all day. For extended-range work or high-volume range sessions, a full-size pistol or rifle optic platform will offer ergonomic advantages—but the P365X absolutely handles what it's designed for.
