The Sig Sauer P365 9mm pistol is a micro-compact carry gun built for shooters who refuse to compromise between concealment and shootability. At just 6 inches long and weighing 17.8 ounces, this single-stack 9mm delivers genuine all-day comfort in a pocket, appendix, or ankle holster without feeling like you're packing a toy. The 3.1-inch barrel and 4.9-inch sight radius give you practical accuracy for defensive distances, while the flat-face striker trigger breaks clean and predictable—essential when your life depends on shot placement.

This particular P365 ships optic-ready and comes equipped with Sig's X-RAY3 day/night sights, so you get enhanced low-light sight picture right out of the box. The stainless steel frame and Nitron-finished slide are built to last, and the polymer XSeries P365 grip module keeps recoil manageable despite the compact footprint. A SIG rail up front lets you mount a light or laser if your carry rig allows. Two 10-round steel magazines come standard, and this model meets state compliance requirements for Connecticut, Hawaii, New Jersey, and New York.

Manual safety, striker-fired action, carbon steel barrel, and stainless construction mean the P365 is robust enough for daily carry, training, and transport. Whether you're a first-time concealed-carry permit holder or a seasoned shooter consolidating your EDC rotation, this is a legitimate workhorse that earns its reputation. It doesn't try to be everything—just a reliable, shootable, hideaway 9mm that you'll actually carry every day.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the P365 a good concealed carry gun for first-time permit holders?

Yes. The P365 is lightweight, compact, and carries easily all day. The flat-trigger and predictable striker action make it manageable for shooters of various skill levels, and the X-RAY3 sights help with accurate shot placement. If you want a forgiving carry gun that doesn't require a lot of training to use responsibly, this is a solid choice.

Can I mount a red-dot sight on this P365?

The slide is optic-ready, so it's designed to accept a red-dot mounted directly to the slide. Check your chosen optic's footprint and mounting system before purchase to ensure compatibility.

What's included in the box?

The P365 comes with two 10-round steel magazines and the pistol itself with X-RAY3 night sights factory-installed. A light or laser, if desired, must be purchased separately.

Does this P365 have a threaded barrel?

No, this model has a non-threaded barrel. If you want suppressor compatibility, you would need a different P365 variant.
