Slide Description:
Optic Cut/Serrated

The Sig Sauer 1911X .45 ACP is a modern take on one of the most proven platforms in shooting. This full-size 1911 combines timeless ergonomics and reliability with contemporary features that matter on the range or in the field. The optic-ready slide accepts the included Romeo1 reflex sight directly, giving you a low-profile red dot setup without the bulk of a tower-mounted base. If iron sights are your preference, the XRAY3 Day/Night sights deliver excellent visibility in any light. It's the kind of practical update that respects the original design while acknowledging how shooters work today.

Built on a stainless-steel frame with black DLC finish, the 1911X trades pure classic looks for durability and a cleaner aesthetic. The slide features front and rear serrations for positive handling, and the frame includes an undercut trigger guard and extended ambidextrous manual safety—a comfort gain if you're left-handed or just want symmetry. The custom G10 grip panels from LOK Grips offer a solid purchase without feeling overcomplicated. A flat-blade trigger with serrated face breaks cleanly, and the detachable magwell speeds reloads at the bench or during practice.

You get two 8-round steel magazines, so you're set for a shooting session right out of the box. The barrel stretches 5 inches, giving you a full sight radius and the velocity platform the .45 ACP demands. At 42 ounces loaded, it carries purpose without excess weight. Whether you're a 1911 enthusiast looking to modernize, or a shooter who appreciates iron sights backed by reflex-dot reliability, the Sig Sauer 1911X delivers on both fronts.
