The SDS MAC 9MM 5.8 is a roller delayed blowback pistol built on proven platform design and engineered for shooters who want reliability without compromise. With its 5.8-inch button-rifled barrel and full-size frame, this 9x19mm carbine delivers the ergonomics and control you need for defensive training, competition, or serious home defense. If you're familiar with HK-pattern systems or MAC-compatible builds, you'll appreciate how the SDS MAC accepts standard aftermarket furniture and components—giving you the flexibility to tune it to your preference.
Right out of the box, you get everything needed to run: two 30-round welded steel magazines with chrome followers, a two-point web sling, a machined tri-lug flash hider pre-installed on the 1/2x28 threaded muzzle, a cleaning kit, and fully adjustable diopter sights with a hooded front post. The receiver wears a durable black lacquer finish over phosphate, and the pistol-grip furniture is reinforced PA6 with 30% glass fill—tough enough for hard use. The trigger breaks at an average of 4.25 pounds, and the 9x19mm chamber is fully fluted for reliable feeding and extraction.
This is a piston-driven platform that rewards familiarity and rewards accuracy. Whether you're running it stock or building it out with compatible optic mounts and rail systems, the MAC 5.8 won't nickel-and-dime you on proprietary parts. The tri-lug muzzle adapter opens the door to a wide range of suppressors and muzzle devices, making it a smart choice if you're thinking long-term about noise and recoil management.
