The Savage B22 Precision Lite is a bolt-action .22 LR rimfire rifle built for shooters who want to ring steel accurately at distance without compromise. Precision target shooting demands a platform that balances inherent accuracy with shootability, and Savage paired its renowned button-rifled barrel with a purpose-built chassis system to deliver exactly that. The 18-inch carbon fiber-wrapped barrel keeps the rifle light and nimble while managing heat dissipation, and the aluminum chassis from Modular Driven Technologies (MDT) lets you dial in the fit to your needs—not the other way around.

What sets the Precision Lite apart is its tuning capability right out of the box. The adjustable cheek riser and length-of-pull spacers (ranging from 12.75 to 13.75 inches) let you customize the ergonomics to your frame and shooting position, whether you're working from a bench or a precision rifle chassis at a local match. The user-adjustable AccuTrigger gives you control over break weight and take-up, so you can dial in a trigger pull that rewards technique. The 10-round rotary magazine and 20 MOA rail mean you're ready to shoot and adjust without hunting for adapters or aftermarket parts. M-Lok slots on the forend and MDT pistol grip give you mounting options for support accessories, bipods, or lights if your rimfire discipline demands them.

At 6.77 pounds, this rifle won't exhaust you on a day at the range, and the matte-finished stainless barrel and aluminum chassis won't distract from your focus on the target. Thread-in barrel headspacing simplifies maintenance and future barrel swaps if you decide to take the platform further. Whether you're training for field rifle accuracy, competing in rimfire precision matches, or simply want a .22 that performs like a rifle twice its price, the Savage B22 Precision Lite rewards good fundamentals and solid shooting.

Frequently Asked Questions

What accessories or optics do I need to get started?

The B22 Precision Lite comes with a 20 MOA Picatinny rail, so you'll need scope rings and a rifle scope to begin shooting. The rifle itself includes a 10-round rotary magazine and is ready to fire once you add optics and ammunition. M-Lok slots on the forend let you add a bipod or other support accessories depending on your shooting discipline.

Can I adjust the fit and feel of this rifle?

Yes. The adjustable cheek riser lets you dial in proper scope alignment and head position, while the included length-of-pull spacers allow you to customize the stock distance to fit your arm length and shooting style. Adjustment range is 12.75 to 13.75 inches. The AccuTrigger is also user-adjustable, so you can tune the break weight and take-up to match your preferences.

Is this rifle suitable for competition or just general target shooting?

The B22 Precision Lite is designed with precision shooting in mind. Its balanced profile, adjustable ergonomics, tunable trigger, and 20 MOA rail make it well-suited for rimfire precision matches and target shooting at distance, as well as general range work and field accuracy training.

What comes in the box?

The rifle ships as a complete, ready-to-fire platform with the MDT chassis, adjustable stock components, 10-round rotary magazine, and 20 MOA rail installed. You will need to add a scope and scope rings, as well as .22 LR ammunition.
