The Savage Arms 110 Classic .308 Win bolt-action rifle combines traditional walnut aesthetics with modern ergonomic engineering, delivering a hunting rifle that feels right in your hands and shoots where you aim. This is a centerfire rifle built on Savage's proven 110 platform, chambered in the versatile and effective .308 Winchester—a caliber trusted by hunters, sport shooters, and precision riflers across North America. If you want a rifle that respects classic lines without sacrificing shooter comfort or accuracy, the 110 Classic deserves a close look.
What sets the 110 Classic apart is its fully adjustable stock architecture. The length-of-pull and comb height are both user-adjustable via push-button controls, so you can dial in your exact fit whether you're shooting in a t-shirt or heavy winter layers, or simply prefer a shorter pull for more control. That matters—consistency and comfort drive accuracy, and Savage understood that when they built this rifle. The walnut stock itself carries modern ergonomic shaping that doesn't feel antiquated, and the oiled brown finish is both attractive and practical.
Under the wood sits a carbon steel barrel (22 inches, threaded 9/16x24 at the muzzle) and a user-adjustable AccuTrigger, letting you tailor your trigger pull to your preference rather than accepting whatever came from the factory. The receiver and action are drilled and tapped for scope mounts straight out of the box. A three-position safety, detachable box magazine (4-round capacity), and sling swivel studs complete the working rifle. At 8.06 pounds, it carries well without feeling featherweight or twitchy.
The .308 Winchester chambering is no accident—it's the most practical middle ground for North American hunting, offering proven terminal performance on deer and elk at hunting ranges, manageable recoil, and ammo availability that isn't vanishing anytime soon. Whether you're glassing timber from a ridge or settling into a stand, the 110 Classic is the kind of rifle that gets out of your way and lets you focus on the hunt.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I put a scope on the 110 Classic right away?
Yes. The receiver comes drilled and tapped for standard scope mounts, so you can install rings and bases immediately. You'll need to add a scope and mounts separately.
What's the .308 Winchester good for?
The .308 Winchester is one of the most versatile rifle cartridges available. It's effective for deer and elk hunting at typical hunting ranges, works well for sport shooting and target practice, and has reliable ammunition availability. It also produces manageable recoil, making it accessible to shooters of various sizes and experience levels.
How does the adjustable stock work?
The 110 Classic's stock features push-button controls that let you adjust both length-of-pull (the distance from the trigger to the center of the buttpad) and comb height (how high the cheekrest sits). This means you can customize fit for different shooting positions, clothing layers, or personal preference without tools or guesswork.
Is the trigger adjustable?
Yes. The AccuTrigger is user-adjustable, allowing you to set the pull weight to your preference. This gives you more control over your shooting experience than a fixed factory trigger.
