Built on Savage's reputation for solid mechanics, this Model 40219 pairs a proven straight-blowback action with a lightweight synthetic stock in eye-catching purple—making it an accessible choice for beginners, recreational shooters, and small-game hunters who want dependable performance without complexity or fuss.

The 21-inch blued carbon steel barrel is paired with a matte-finish synthetic sporter stock that's both durable and lightweight at just 5 pounds, keeping the rifle quick to handle whether you're plinking at the range or working small varmints. The grooved receiver accepts standard .22 accessories, and open sights—front bead and adjustable rear—are ready to go out of the box. A 10-round detachable box magazine keeps reloads fast, and the right-handed ejection port and controls suit most shooters intuitively.

At 40.5 inches overall with a 13.5-inch length of pull, the 64F fits comfortably for a wide range of shooters. The 1-in-16 barrel twist is optimized for standard .22LR ammunition, and the straightforward semi-automatic design means minimal maintenance and maximum reliability.
