SAV 110 PISTOL CHASSIS SYSTEM 400LEG 10.5 PCS
- Barrel Length:
- 10.5"
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 400 Legend
The Savage Arms 110 Pistol Chassis System in 400 Legend represents a serious evolution in modern bolt-action pistol design. Built on Savage's proven 110 factory blueprinted action and paired with a one-piece aluminum chassis from Modular Driven Technologies (MDT), this 10.5-inch barreled shooter combines the accuracy reputation the 110 platform is known for with the compact, configurable ergonomics of a dedicated pistol platform. If you're looking for a purpose-built centerfire pistol that prioritizes precision and adaptability, the 110 PCS delivers both—and earned 2023 American Hunter Handgun of the Year recognition for good reason.
The 400 Legend round offers hunters and shooters a modern, straight-walled cartridge option in a bolt-action platform. The 110 PCS frame starts with a medium-contour carbon steel barrel in matte black, threaded 11/16-24 at the muzzle, and a spiral-fluted bolt body that feeds from a single AICS-style detachable box magazine holding 10 rounds. The rifle twist is 1 in 16 inches with 6 lands and grooves, optimized for 400 Legend ballistics.
The chassis is where modularity shines: it's machined from aluminum, features 7 free-floating modular forend sections with M-Lok slots for accessories, and includes a Picatinny rail at the rear and a 0 MOA rail across the top for optics mounting. Front-of-magazine barricade grooves help anchor the pistol during supported shooting. The ambidextrous magazine release means lefties and righties alike can run this naturally. Trigger duty falls to Savage's AccuTrigger system, user-adjustable between 2.5 and 6 pounds for a clean, predictable break. The chassis accepts standard AR-15 pistol grips, keeping controls familiar to modern shooters. Overall length sits at 21.5 inches with a 7.25-inch height and 1.68-inch width—compact enough for truck guns, truck safes, or precision pistol pursuits.
This is a firearm built for serious accuracy and real-world shooters who understand that modularity and a user-adjustable trigger are non-negotiable. The 110 PCS is not a range toy—it's a tool designed to perform.
