The Rossi RB22 .22WMR bolt-action rifle is a lightweight, handy option for shooters who want a tack-driving rimfire with real rifle ergonomics. Chambered in .22 Magnum, this 21.5-inch barrel rifle delivers the velocity and energy of a true magnum rimfire in a trim 38.5-inch overall length that handles easily in brush, truck racks, or tight shooting positions. At just 4.3 pounds, the RB22 won't fatigue you on all-day varmint hunts or small-game expeditions, yet it's built on a proper bolt action rather than a semi-auto, giving you the mechanical simplicity and reliability that matter when you're far from a gunsmith.
The rifle pairs a matte black finish with quality wood furniture, striking a balance between weather protection and classic rifle aesthetics. Its free-floating barrel is a genuine accuracy advantage—the barrel hangs independently from the stock, minimizing the harmonic variables that can shift your zero between shooting positions or as the rifle warms. A manual cross-bolt safety gives you positive control over the firing mechanism, and the hammer firing system provides a crisp, consistent trigger feel. Capacity is 5+1 (five in the detachable magazine, one in the chamber), which is plenty for most rimfire work. The rifle ships with one magazine.
No iron sights are installed, which means the receiver is clean and ready for a rimfire scope—a smart choice if you plan to stretch this little gun's .22 Magnum legs at 50+ yards. The RB22 makes a compact, no-fuss solution for small predators, pest control, training shooters on manual rifle operation, or anyone who appreciates a bolt gun's mechanical elegance in a caliber that doesn't require a centerfire recoil pad or ammunition budget.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I mount a scope on the Rossi RB22?
Yes. The receiver is drilled and tapped for standard scope mounting, and since no iron sights are installed, you have a clean, unobstructed platform. A rimfire scope in 2–7x or 3–9x magnification is a popular choice.
What ammunition does the .22 WMR use?
The .22 WMR (Winchester Magnum Rimfire) is a distinct cartridge from standard .22 Long Rifle. It delivers higher velocity and energy, making it suitable for small game and pest control at greater distances. Use only .22 WMR ammunition; .22 LR rounds will not chamber safely.
Is this rifle suitable for hunting small game?
Yes. The .22 Magnum's velocity and energy make it effective for small game like rabbits, squirrels, and other varmints, especially when paired with appropriate ammunition. The lightweight design and short overall length make it easy to carry in the field.
How many magazines come with the RB22?
One 5-round detachable magazine is included with the rifle.
