The Rossi RB22 Compact .22LR rifle is a lightweight, portable bolt-action designed for shooters who value handling and versatility. At just 52 ounces with a 16.5-inch barrel and 31.2-inch overall length, this rimfire is compact enough to carry through brush or pack into camp, yet solid enough for plinking, small-game control, and teaching new shooters the fundamentals. The two-tone black/FDE polymer stock pairs rugged aluminum and alloy-steel construction with genuine working simplicity—no frills, no nonsense.
Built on a bolt-action platform with a 10-round magazine, the RB22 Compact puts .22 LR velocity where it counts: accurate, reliable, and low-recoil for steady shot placement. The cross-bolt safety is intuitive, and the adjustable fiber-optic sights come ready to aim. A threaded barrel opens the door to suppressor use if that's part of your plan, making this rifle genuinely practical for quiet practice or pest work on the property. Whether you're breaking in a younger shooter, running drills at the range, or keeping varmints honest, the compact footprint and manageable recoil make it easy to shoot well.
Rossi has a long track record building rifles that earn their place in the field and truck bed without requiring a second mortgage. The RB22 Compact carries that legacy forward—a no-fuss, lightweight .22 that does its job and doesn't apologize for being simple.
