The Rossi Circuit Judge .45 LC/.410 revolver rifle is a genuinely versatile field gun that bridges the gap between traditional rifle shooting and shotgun hunting. This isn't just a novelty—it's a practical choice for hunters and sport shooters who want to run one gun across multiple scenarios. The dual-chambering in .45 Colt and .410 gauge means you can switch between rifle rounds for precision work and shotgun loads for birds, small game, or defensive situations, all without changing platforms.
Built on a robust revolver frame with a rifle-length barrel, the Circuit Judge delivers genuine versatility in a compact, 31.8-inch overall length package that weighs just 5.2 pounds. The 18.5-inch barrel gives you enough sight radius and velocity from both cartridges while keeping the gun handy in brush or from a vehicle. The five-shot cylinder is fed and cycled through the smooth double-action/single-action trigger, and a transfer bar safety keeps things secure whether you're hiking, hunting, or at the range.
The moss green finish and black synthetic fixed thumbhole stock give the Circuit Judge a serious, modern look without sacrificing durability. Fiber optic front sights paired with adjustable rear sights get you on target quickly in field conditions—low-light hunting mornings and bright-sun range days alike. This is the kind of gun that rewards learning: master the trigger, understand which load to run in each situation, and you've got a legitimate all-purpose tool that handles more jobs than most hunters expect from a single firearm.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I shoot both .45 Colt and .410 loads in the same gun?
Yes. The Circuit Judge is chambered for both .45 Colt rifle rounds and .410 gauge shotshell loads. You load the cartridge or shell appropriate to your task—rifle ammo for precision shots, shotshell loads for spreading patterns—and the revolver fires whichever you've loaded into each chamber.
What's the advantage of the thumbhole stock?
The fixed thumbhole synthetic stock aids recoil control and helps you maintain a stable grip when firing, especially when running the gun in double-action mode or managing the recoil from .410 loads. It's designed for shooters who want a more secured hold during field use.
What sights does the Circuit Judge have?
The revolver rifle comes equipped with a fiber optic front sight and adjustable rear sight. Fiber optic sights gather ambient light and stand out clearly in low-light conditions—ideal for dawn and dusk hunting—while the adjustable rear lets you dial in your point of aim for distance and load combinations.
Is this gun light enough for backcountry hunting?
At 5.2 pounds and 31.8 inches overall, the Circuit Judge is compact and lightweight enough for extended field work. The barrel length and revolver frame keep it handy in dense terrain, making it suitable for hunters who prize portability without sacrificing practical power and versatility.
