The Rossi Circuit Judge is a unique hybrid firearm that bridges the gap between traditional revolver handling and shotgun versatility. This .410 gauge single/double action shot rifle chambers both .45 Colt ammunition and 2.5" or 3" .410 shotshells without requiring barrel changes—a genuine advantage if you're looking for a compact, adaptable option for small game hunting, pest control, or close-range sport shooting. With an 18.5" barrel and graphite finish, it's built for practical use in the field without the weight or complexity of swapping components.

The Circuit Judge handles like a traditional revolver but delivers shotgun-style patterns at hunting distances, making it an unconventional choice for hunters who want one tool to cover multiple game sizes and shooting scenarios. The red fiber optic front sight aids target acquisition in variable light, and the straightforward single/double action trigger gives you control over shot placement. It's refreshingly simple—no rails, no gadgets, just proven revolver mechanics applied to shotshell propulsion.

Rossi built this on decades of revolver design, and it shows in the robust build and practical finish. The graphite treatment resists weather without looking overwrought. This isn't a rifle pretending to be a shotgun, or vice versa; it's its own category, and if you hunt brush, work livestock land, or shoot steel at short range, that category might be exactly what you need.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I shoot both .45 Colt and .410 shotshells in the same gun without changing barrels?

Yes. The Circuit Judge is designed to fire both .45 Colt ammunition and 2.5" or 3" .410 gauge shotshells from the same barrel. You load the cylinder with whichever ammunition your hunt or shooting situation calls for—no barrel swap required.

What's the advantage of a .410 shot rifle over a traditional .410 shotgun for hunting?

The Circuit Judge's revolver handling, red fiber optic sight, and single/double action trigger give you precision and control at shorter ranges. If you hunt small game, varmints, or work property where you want a lightweight, handheld option with both shotshell and rifle-caliber versatility, the revolver design and sightline may suit you better than a conventional shotgun.

Does the Circuit Judge come with any safety features?

Yes. It includes a transfer bar mechanism for safe handling, a yoke detent to keep the cylinder secure, and the Taurus Security System.

What front sight is installed?

A red fiber optic front sight for quick target acquisition in varying light conditions.
