The Riley Defense RAK-47-C is an American-made 7.62x39mm rifle that channels classic AK platform ergonomics and reliability into a modern, domestic firearm. If you've been looking for a semi-automatic rifle that balances authentic AK handling with stateside manufacturing and quality control, this one delivers. The RAK-47-C is built around a fully heat-treated mil-spec stamped receiver paired with a 4150 nitride barrel (16.25" length) and forged trunnion—the kind of foundation you expect in a serious rifle platform.

What sets this rifle apart is its furniture: solid teak wood makes up the buttstock, upper and lower handguards, and complements the black oxide finish for a look that's both functional and distinctive. That's not just cosmetic—wood furniture on a battle rifle absorbs recoil differently than polymer, offers better control in varied conditions, and ages with character. The plastic pistol grip rounds out the control setup with a proven ergonomic profile. Adjustable front and rear sights come standard, so you're ready to zero and shoot without hunting for aftermarket additions.

At 35.25" overall length with a 30-round magazine capacity, the RAK-47-C works for hunting medium game, precision range work, or any role where you need a reliable 7.62x39 semi-auto. The effective range is rated to 350 yards with a maximum range to 1000 yards—realistic numbers for the cartridge and platform. Built with semi-automatic closed-bolt action, it's a rifle that rewards proper technique and delivers consistent performance downrange.
