The Retay USA Gordion 20 gauge semi-automatic shotgun is a lightweight, versatile option for hunters who want the speed and comfort of an inertia-driven platform without the recoil punishment of larger gauges. Built on an inertia piston system with a rotating bolt, this 28-inch shotgun cycles reliably through the full range of 2¾- and 3-inch loads, making it equally at home in the dove field, upland cover, or on clay targets. The Grade 2 oiled black walnut furniture and polished black anodized receiver give it a refined appearance that doesn't sacrifice function—this is a shotgun designed to work hard and look good doing it.
What sets the Gordion apart is attention to fit and adjustability. The stock ships with an adjustable shim set, letting you dial in cast and drop to match your frame and shooting style. The 14.37-inch length of pull suits most hunters, and the drop settings are tunable across a narrow, practical range. That matters: a poorly fitting shotgun punishes you with every shot. The sculpted microcell recoil pad absorbs what the 20 gauge naturally generates, keeping you comfortable through a full day afield.
The barrel is hammer-forged Bohler steel with a chrome-lined bore, built to last through seasons of hunting. Five interchangeable MaraPro chokes—Cylinder, Improved Cylinder, Modified, Improved Modified, and Full—let you adapt to different distances and shot sizes without swapping barrels. The TruGlo fiber-optic front bead (red) is easy to acquire in low light, and the flat, 8mm hunting-style rib keeps your sight picture steady. An automatic anti-repeat trigger and cross-bolt safety round out the handling; this is straightforward, proven shotgun ergonomics.
At 6 pounds 10 ounces, the Gordion won't wear you down on a long hunt. The 4+1 capacity with included shell limiter and sling swivel adapter means you're set up for hunting out of the box.
