The Riley Defense RAK47-C-NY is a 7.62x39 semi-automatic rifle built to meet New York's strict firearm regulations without compromise on functionality or build quality. If you're in NY and want a modern, reliable AK-pattern rifle that complies with state law, this classic laminated version delivers the rugged reliability AK owners expect while keeping you legal. The RAK47-C-NY uses a fully heat-treated, mil-spec stamped receiver paired with a forged trunnion, bolt, and carrier—the hard parts that define AK durability—so you're getting genuine combat-tested design principles in a civilian platform.

The 16.25-inch 4150 nitride barrel is built for longevity and corrosion resistance, a real advantage if you shoot regularly or live in damp conditions. You'll find adjustable sights for field zeroing, and a machined scope mount side rail lets you add optics if your state laws permit. The wood laminate furniture (stock and handguard) gives you a classic look and solid ergonomics, while the state-compliant spur grip keeps the rifle within NY legal parameters. Extended magazine release and a bolt hold-open safety lever round out the controls. A cleaning rod is included.

This is a rifle for shooters in restrictive states who refuse to compromise on quality or capability. The 10-round magazine capacity meets New York regulations, and the effective range of 350 yards covers hunting and marksmanship at realistic distances. Whether you're zeroing for deer season, training at the range, or just enjoying the mechanical simplicity of a piston-driven platform, the RAK47-C-NY delivers proven AK-pattern reliability in a configuration that won't get you in legal trouble.
