The POF-USA Rogue .308 Win AR-15 rifle is a purpose-built lightweight platform for hunters and precision shooters who refuse to compromise on capability or carry comfort. At just 5.9 pounds empty, this semi-auto .308 rifle challenges the conventional tradeoff between power and portability—making it genuinely packable for backcountry hunts, long treks, and situations where every ounce matters. POF-USA engineered the Rogue around their Revolution platform, substituting smart design choices and proprietary innovations for unnecessary weight-shedding gimmicks, so you get a rifle that's light without being fragile.
Accuracy and reliability anchor the Rogue's design. The 16.5" match-grade stainless steel barrel is rifled 1:8 and wears a single-port Micro-B muzzle brake to manage recoil and jump. The direct impingement action feeds rounds through an E2 dual extraction chamber, while the 4.5-pound POF-USA drop-in trigger and KNS anti-walk pins deliver consistent trigger control out of the box. Patrol accuracy is realistic with quality ammunition and proper shooting technique. Field stripping follows standard AR-platform procedures—no exotic proprietary takedown to fumble with in the field.
The ergonomic setup includes an ambidextrous safety selector, a 11" free-floating Renegade handguard with M-LOK mounting and four integrated QD sling points, and Mission First Tactical furniture. The oversized heatsink barrel nut and Renegade rail work together to manage sustained-fire temperatures. Everything ships with a 6-position anti-tilt buffer tube, a 20-round Magpul magazine, and a roller cam pin, so you're ready to range or hunt immediately.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Rogue lightweight without sacrificing durability?
POF-USA designed the Rogue using the Revolution platform with proprietary and patented innovations, not gimmick cuts. The match-grade stainless barrel, forged receivers, and free-floating Renegade handguard provide accuracy and rigidity while the overall geometry and component selection keep the rifle under 6 pounds. It's engineered for real use, not weight reduction theater.
Is the POF-USA Rogue suitable for hunting?
Yes. The .308 Win caliber, match-grade barrel, accurate trigger, and sub-6-pound weight make it a realistic choice for field hunting. The integrated QD sling mounts and compact collapsed length (34") facilitate carry over distance. Realistic accuracy depends on shooter skill and ammunition quality, and the rifle delivers the mechanical foundation for that.
What's included in the box?
The Rogue ships ready to shoot with a 6-position anti-tilt buffer tube, a Magpul 20-round magazine, and a roller cam pin. You'll need to add your own optic, ammunition, and sling to complete your setup.
Can a left-handed shooter use this rifle?
Yes. The Rogue features an ambidextrous safety selector, so both left and right-handed shooters can operate the manual of arms comfortably. Standard AR-platform maintenance applies to both orientations.
