The Pietta Great Western II .357 Magnum revolver pairs classic single-action styling with practical modern features, making it a solid choice for shooters who want that traditional look without sacrificing functionality. This 4.75" barrel single-action revolver chambers the versatile .357 Magnum cartridge, giving you the flexibility to shoot both .357 Magnum and .38 Special rounds through the same gun. The 6-round cylinder capacity and white grip with Aces and Eights design give it authentic Old West character while remaining reliable enough for serious shooting.
Pietta built this gun with real attention to period-correct details: the frame features photo-engraved color case-hardening, the barrel and cylinder wear photo-engraved blue finish, and a brass backstrap pairs with a brass trigger guard for that authentic single-action feel. These decorative touches aren't just cosmetic—they signal quality control and craftsmanship. If you appreciate historically accurate single-action revolvers but need a gun that performs, the Great Western II balances nostalgia with reliability in a caliber that packs actual stopping power.
This revolver appeals to Cowboy Action shooters, historical reenactors, and anyone drawn to single-action revolvers who wants a .357 Magnum option. The .357 Magnum cartridge offers more power than .38 Special in the same gun, so you get flexibility at the range or in the field without buying a second revolver.
