The Patriot Ordnance Factory P415 piston AR-15 rifle in 5.56 NATO delivers reliability and controls tailored for shooters who demand performance in the field. Built around a proven piston-driven system, the P415 combines ambidextrous handling, a lightweight profile, and intelligent engineering that sets it apart from conventional direct-impingement carbines. At just 7 lbs, this rifle strips away excess weight without sacrificing durability—a real advantage whether you're hunting, running drills at the range, or deploying a dependable duty rifle.

The 16" nitride-treated 4150 chrome vanadium barrel is crowned with a 3-port muzzle brake and pairs with a modular 14" free-floating rail that gives you clean sight lines and mounting flexibility. POF's E2 Extraction Technology and GEN4 lower receiver handle the hard work of keeping things running when conditions get rough. Mission First Tactical furniture rounds out the platform with field-proven ergonomics, while the OD Green Cerakote finish bridges durability and aesthetics. A 4.5 lb match-grade trigger ships ready for precision work out of the box.

This is a rifle built for serious shooters who understand that piston operation, ambidextrous controls, and attention to weight matter in real-world use. The P415's track record speaks for itself—it's engineered to run when other guns quit, and it shows in every detail from receiver to muzzle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the P415 suitable for hunting and long-range use?

Yes. The 5.56 NATO chambering, match-grade 4.5 lb trigger, and free-floating barrel make the P415 a solid platform for target shooting and hunting. The lightweight profile and ambidextrous controls add versatility across different shooting positions and conditions.

What makes the piston system different from a standard direct-impingement AR?

The P415 uses a piston-driven action with POF's E2 Extraction Technology, which cycles gas differently than direct-impingement designs. This system is engineered to deliver consistent reliability and easier cleaning—a real advantage in dusty or harsh field conditions.

Can left-handed shooters use this rifle comfortably?

Yes. The P415 features complete ambidextrous fire controls, making it equally accessible for left- and right-handed shooters without modification.

What's included with the rifle?

The P415 ships with one 30-round magazine and is ready to run. The free-floating 14" rail accepts standard Picatinny optics and accessories.
