The Mossberg Shockwave and Remington Tac-14 pack serious firepower into a compact package, but their birdshead grip design transfers that recoil straight into your hand. The Pachmayr Tactical Grip Glove slip-on sleeve transforms how these short-barreled shotguns feel to shoot by adding a thick, textured rubber cushion over the factory grip. No gunsmithing required—just slide it on and get back to the range or field with noticeably reduced felt recoil and a more confident grip.
Built from durable black rubber, the Tactical Grip Glove uses a specially designed texture that resists slipping even when your hands are wet or sweaty. The added material not only softens the recoil impulse on your palm but also gives you more surface area to work with, improving control when managing the gun's kick. Whether you're running drills at the range, practicing home defense scenarios, or heading out for tactical shotgun sport, this simple upgrade makes shooting more comfortable and more controllable.
Pachmayr's slip-on design fits the specific grip profiles of the Shockwave and Tac-14, so installation is straightforward and requires no tools or modifications to your shotgun. If you've been hesitant to shoot your compact tactical shotgun for extended sessions because of recoil, this is the kind of practical accessory that actually changes how often you'll train with it.
