Nosler M48 Mountain Carbon 6.5 Creedmoor Rifle - Gray Finish
- Caliber-Gauge:
- 6.5 Creedmoor
- Finish-Color:
- Gray
The Nosler M48 Mountain Carbon 6.5 Creedmoor rifle in gray finish is built for hunters who refuse to compromise between weight, accuracy, and price. This short-action rifle tips the scales at just 6 pounds, making it genuinely packable for backcountry hunts where every ounce counts—but Nosler didn't cut corners to hit that weight target. The action and barrel are precision-engineered to deliver sub-MOA accuracy, while the carbon fiber stock and Tungsten Grey Cerakote finish stand up to harsh field conditions without the bulk of traditional all-steel rifles.
The M48 Mountain Carbon pairs a match-grade, cut-rifled carbon-wrapped barrel with Nosler's proven M48 action. The 24-inch Sendero Light contour barrel is threaded 5/8x24 for suppressor use, and the whole rifle is anchored with glass and aluminum pillar bedding for consistent accuracy. The carbon fiber aramid-reinforced stock in Shale Gray feels balanced in your hands—light enough to carry all day, solid enough to trust at distance. A Timney trigger with 2-position safety and hinged floorplate round out a rifle that's as functional in the field as it is on the range.
This is Nosler's answer to the "lightweight rifle" market—no false economy, no magical claims. You get a rifle that actually weighs what it says, shoots accurately with quality ammunition, and won't fail you when the conditions get real. Whether you're hunting alpine terrain or glassing from a ridge, the M48 Mountain Carbon carries like a mountain rifle should.
