The Mossberg MVP Patrol is a compact bolt-action rifle built for shooters who need .300 Blackout performance in a maneuverable, mission-ready platform. Whether you're running suppressed loads at the range, hunting hog country where short-range precision matters, or setting up a dedicated .300 Blackout setup for AR-pattern ammo you already stock, the MVP Patrol delivers straightforward reliability in a package that doesn't demand a lot of real estate. At 16.25 inches with a threaded muzzle, it's built to run a suppressor or brake, and the 1:7 twist handles both subsonic and supersonic loads reliably.

This is a no-nonsense rifle: fixed synthetic stock in black, matte blued finish, and a top-mounted Picatinny rail with integral flip-up front sight for fast target acquisition out of the box. The bolt-action design means consistency, straightforward maintenance, and the kind of inherent accuracy that makes .300 Blackout's inherent versatility actually useful in the field. Ten-round capacity keeps you ready without excess.

Weighing 6.5 pounds and stretching just 36.5 inches overall, the MVP Patrol is compact enough for brush hunting or vehicle-based work, yet substantial enough to manage recoil and support optics and accessories. The threaded barrel opens up the platform—add a suppressor, muzzle brake, or flash hider to fit your mission. Built-in Picatinny mounting means you can go minimal with iron sights or go modern with whatever glass or thermal setup makes sense for your application.

Frequently Asked Questions

What optics or iron sights work with the MVP Patrol?

The rifle ships with a top-mounted Picatinny rail and integral flip-up front sight, so it's ready to accept any standard Picatinny-mounted scope, red dot, or magnified optic. You can also run it as-issued with the flip-up sights for quick, close-range work.

Can I use .300 Blackout ammunition I reload or already own?

Yes. The 1:7 twist handles both subsonic and supersonic .300 Blackout loads. The .300 AAC Blackout chamber is standard and works with any properly loaded ammunition in that caliber.

Does the barrel come threaded for a suppressor?

Yes. The 16.25" barrel is factory threaded, so you can mount a suppressor, muzzle brake, or flash hider directly without additional gunsmithing. Many .300 Blackout shooters choose to suppress it for reduced noise, especially with subsonic loads.

What's the rifle's overall footprint?

At 36.5 inches long and 6.5 pounds, the MVP Patrol is compact and lightweight—designed for situations where you need to move through tight cover, stash the rifle in a vehicle, or work in confined spaces without sacrificing on-target capability.
