The Mossberg Gold Reserve II .410 Ga over and under shotgun combines lightweight handling with refined aesthetics, making it a natural choice for upland hunters and clay shooters who value both performance and elegance. Built on the proven Gold Reserve II platform, this 26-inch barrel model chambers 3-inch shells and tips the scales at just 5.75 pounds—nimble enough for a full day in the field without fatigue. The polished silver receiver with scroll engraving and inlay work gives it a finished, heirloom quality that stands apart from utilitarian shotguns, while the Grade-A satin black walnut furniture speaks to serious craftsmanship.

The .410 gauge is a popular choice for younger shooters, smaller-framed hunters, and anyone who prefers reduced recoil without sacrificing effectiveness on upland game or clay targets. The ventilated rib and bead sight deliver a clean sight picture for quick target acquisition, and the ejectors kick empties clear automatically—a convenience feature that accelerates your rhythm between shots. Fixed 14-inch length of pull suits standard adult proportions; if you need different dimensions, measure your own LOP before committing.

What truly sets this shotgun apart is the included extended sport choke set—five chokes total—so you're not locked into a single constriction. Swap them to match your load and distance, whether you're threading pellets through dense cover or working clay stations at known yardages. The polished blue barrel finish complements the silver receiver, creating a cohesive, refined look that won't embarrass you at the club or in a hunting camp.

This is a shotgun built for shooters who refuse to settle for a one-trick pony. It handles upland birds, respects clay discipline, and carries the kind of fit and finish you'll appreciate for decades.
