Mission First Tactical 30-Round Magazine for .223 Rem/5.56 NATO - Liberty or Death Edition
Mission First Tactical
The Mission First Tactical 5.56 Magazine is a 10-round rifle magazine built to handle the demands of AR-15 shooters who need reliable, durable ammo capacity in a compact footprint. Whether you're running a rifle configured for states with magazine capacity restrictions, building a lightweight truck gun, or stocking spares for the range, this mag brings genuine durability and user-friendly design without the bulk of a standard 20 or 30-rounder.
MFT engineered this magazine as an improvement over the basic STANAG pattern, starting with the materials: the body is made from 2nd generation long glass fiber polymer that's 25% stronger and 60% more impact-resistant than the previous version. That toughness matters when you're loading, unloading, dropping mags on the deck, or cycling them in and out of your magazine pouch. The black finish is clean and low-profile, and the stippled texture provides positive grip even with gloved hands.
Function comes first. A long-life steel spring and a redesigned two-point follower stop ensure rounds feed reliably without tilt or binding. The oversized bolt catch notch in the rear improves interaction with your rifle's bolt catch, reducing the risk of feeding issues or sloppy engagement. Two drain holes let water and debris escape quickly—critical for guns stored in trucks, range bags, or field conditions. The flared floor plate makes extraction easier and offers some drop protection. And because MFT included double floor plate safety release tabs, you can disassemble the mag without tools and safely release spring tension when you need to empty or service it.
At 4.8 ounces and just over 8.75 inches tall, this magazine is compact enough to carry multiple spares without weighing you down. It's the kind of no-nonsense gear that works the way it should.
