The ICAR M3 combines proven PMAG reliability with features specifically refined for the 6mm ARC cartridge's geometry and performance envelope.
The magazine uses a stainless-steel spring and a four-way anti-tilt follower that feeds reliably across temperature extremes and adverse conditions. Internal geometry follows a constant-curve design to reduce friction and feeding inconsistency—important when you're pushing the ballistic capabilities of 6mm ARC at distance. The rear bolt catch notch is redesigned for increased clearance, while an over-travel stop on the front spine prevents the magazine from seating too deep in the magwell, protecting both the magazine and your rifle's action.
Handling and usability get attention too: aggressive texturing on front and rear surfaces provides secure grip even with wet or gloved hands, while low-profile ribs keep weight down without sacrificing control. The flared floorplate disassembles easily for field cleaning and extraction, yet remains slightly slimmer than earlier generations to fit standard magazine pouches. Dual transparent windows let you check round count at a glance, aided by high-visibility spring coils and numerical markers on the body. A paint-pen dot matrix on the bottom panel makes marking magazines for identification quick and simple. Made in the USA.
