The Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX .50 AE pistol in black oxide finish is an iconic hand cannon built for shooters who want serious stopping power and distinctive presence at the range or on the field. This gas-operated semiautomatic delivers the legendary .50 AE chambering in a robust, all-steel platform that commands attention. With its 6-inch barrel and full Weaver rail for optics and accessories, the Mark XIX combines raw power with practical modularity—and the included spare .44 Magnum barrel and magazine give you the flexibility to shoot two calibers from one pistol.

Built from carbon steel with a durable black oxide finish, the Desert Eagle is engineered for reliability and longevity. The single-action trigger breaks at approximately 4 pounds, and the fixed combat-style sights are zeroed at an 8.5-inch radius. The polygonal rifling (6 lands and grooves, right-hand twist at 1:19) is designed for accuracy and consistent velocity. At just over 4 pounds empty, this is a substantial but manageable handgun for dedicated shooters who respect the cartridge's power and recoil characteristics.

Whether you're a collector, a long-range pistol enthusiast, or simply drawn to the Desert Eagle's legendary performance and aesthetics, the Mark XIX .50 AE delivers the authentic experience Magnum Research is known for. The dual-caliber capability—.50 AE and .44 Magnum—makes this a versatile choice if you plan to load or shoot both rounds.

Frequently Asked Questions

What calibers does the Desert Eagle Mark XIX shoot?

The DE50WB6 is chambered in .50 AE as the primary caliber. It includes a spare barrel and magazine in .44 Magnum, so you can switch between .50 AE and .44 Magnum by swapping the barrel.

Does it come with an optics rail?

Yes. The Mark XIX features a full-length Weaver-style accessory rail along the top of the slide, allowing you to mount scopes, red dots, or other tactical attachments.

What's included in the box?

The pistol comes with a spare .44 Magnum barrel and magazine in addition to the .50 AE configuration, giving you two caliber options out of the box.

Is the Desert Eagle good for long-range shooting?

The Desert Eagle can be used for long-range pistol work. The 8.5-inch sight radius and ability to mount optics on the Weaver rail support precision shooting, and the .50 AE provides significant energy downrange. However, you should have dedicated training and experience with large-caliber pistols before pursuing this use.
