The Magnum Research Desert Eagle Mark XIX in .357 Magnum with a 6-inch barrel and black finish is one of the most recognizable large-frame pistols in the world. Built on the legendary Desert Eagle platform, this single-action handgun combines distinctive styling with serious stopping power. The Mark XIX represents the modern evolution of a design that's proven itself on ranges and in collections across decades. If you're looking for a full-size, hard-hitting pistol that makes a statement, the Desert Eagle delivers both performance and presence.

The 6-inch barrel strikes a balance between velocity and handling—long enough to wring maximum performance from .357 Magnum loads, but not so extended that the gun becomes unwieldy. The black hard coat alloy frame pairs with a carbon steel slide and barrel, both finished in black, giving the gun a cohesive, purposeful appearance. At 50 ounces unloaded, you're holding a substantial, well-balanced pistol that soaks up recoil without excessive muzzle rise. An integral muzzle brake further helps manage the .357's considerable energy.

Controls are straightforward and left-right friendly: the ambidextrous safety lever lets you operate the gun from either hand with the same muscle memory. Fixed sights keep things simple and durable—no adjustments to knock loose, just point and shoot. The single-action trigger breaks clean, and the 9+1 capacity (nine in the magazine, one in the chamber) gives you ample rounds without excessive bulk. One magazine ships with the gun, though many shooters pick up spares for range sessions or rotation.

This isn't a carry gun or a practical service pistol. The Desert Eagle Mark XIX is for shooters who want presence at the bench, at the range, or on display. It's a conversation starter and a performer for anyone serious about .357 Magnum power in a full-size platform.

What kind of .357 Magnum ammunition can I shoot in this gun?

The .357 Magnum chambering accepts standard .357 Magnum loads from any reputable manufacturer. We don't have specific load recommendations in our product data, so consult the owner's manual or Magnum Research's documentation for guidance on velocity and pressure specifications.

Does the Desert Eagle come with safety features I should know about?
