The Magnum Research Desert Eagle Lightweight .357 Mag pistol is a gas-operated semiautomatic built for shooters who want serious stopping power without the weight penalty. This isn't your average .357—the Desert Eagle's rotating bolt action and polygonal rifling (six lands and grooves with a 1:14 right-hand twist) deliver reliable operation and accuracy across full-power magnum loads. At just 2 lbs. 9 oz. empty, the lightweight alloy frame and carbon steel slide make this beast manageable for extended range sessions or field carry without the fatigue of heavier magnums.

Black aluminum frame paired with a black steel slide gives the Desert Eagle a no-nonsense look that matches its functional design. The full Weaver-style accessory rail means you can mount optics, lights, or lasers to suit your mission. Integral muzzle brake helps manage recoil—important when you're running .357 magnum ammunition. Combat-type fixed sights are zeroed and ready to go, with an 8.5-inch sight radius that supports accurate shot placement at distance.

This is a single-action trigger shooter: expect a clean, predictable break around 4 pounds. Trigger reach of 2.75 inches accommodates most hand sizes without stretching. The 9-round magazine gives you enough capacity for range practice or defensive situations. At 9.69 inches overall length with a 5-inch barrel, the Desert Eagle balances controllability with velocity. Whether you're testing magnum loads at the range, hunting medium game, or building a versatile handgun collection, this Magnum Research delivers the engineering and performance that made the Desert Eagle legendary.
