The Magnum Research Desert Eagle .357 Magnum stainless steel pistol is a full-size, gas-operated semi-automatic handgun built for shooters who want a serious, capable platform. At 10.75 inches overall and weighing 4 lbs 8.8 oz unloaded, this is a gun that announces itself—and backs that up with proven performance. The DE357SRMB chambers the potent .357 Magnum cartridge, delivering the stopping power and ballistic authority that serious handgun hunters and sport shooters respect.

Construction is purpose-built: a high-quality carbon steel barrel, frame, and slide combine with a stainless steel finish to handle hard use and weather. The 6-inch barrel is polygonally rifled with right-hand twist (1 turn in 14 inches, 6 lands and grooves) for reliability and accuracy downrange. A full Weaver-style accessory rail lets you mount lights, lasers, or optics without modifications. The integral muzzle brake helps manage recoil from the .357 Magnum's energy, making the platform more controllable for follow-up shots and precision shooting.

Ergonomics are straightforward: combat-type fixed sights with an 8.5-inch sight radius for rapid target acquisition, single-action trigger with approximately 4-pound pull, and a 2.75-inch trigger reach that fits most adult hands comfortably. The magazine holds 9 rounds, giving you capacity for sport shooting, hunting, or home defense scenarios. This is a gun that rewards good fundamentals and clean technique—not a point-and-spray platform, but a legitimate handgun for the shooter who has trained.

If you're hunting medium game, running steel courses, or want a full-size pistol with historical cachet and genuine capability, the Desert Eagle .357 commands respect. It's unapologetic, overbuilt, and doesn't pretend to be something it's not.
