The Magnum Research BFR 7.5" .45-70 revolver in brushed stainless steel is a serious handgun built for hunters and shooters who demand raw power and reliability. The BFR (Big Frame Revolver) line has earned a reputation for handling some of the most potent handgun cartridges available, and this .45-70 Government variant delivers the kind of stopping power and accuracy that appeals to big-game hunters, wilderness enthusiasts, and precision shooters who respect traditional revolver handling. The 7.5-inch barrel strikes a balance between velocity, sight radius, and practical carry, while the brushed stainless steel construction resists corrosion in harsh field conditions without sacrificing that classic revolver aesthetic.

Built on Magnum Research's proven large-frame platform, this five-shot revolver is chambered in .45-70 Government—a cartridge that traces its roots to 19th-century rifle heritage but has found a modern home in handgun hunting and long-range revolver shooting. The Bisley-style grips are shaped to manage recoil and provide a confident purchase, critical when you're handling a cartridge this powerful. At 4.3 pounds and 15 inches overall length, it's substantial without being unwieldy, and the balanced weight distribution aids both control and accuracy during extended shooting sessions.

Practical sighting is handled by a fixed black front sight and adjustable rear sight, giving you room to dial in your load and distance. The trigger breaks between 3 and 4 pounds, enabling the kind of precision that big-bore revolver shooting demands. Whether you're working up handloads at the bench, testing your marksmanship at distance, or carrying for backcountry protection, the BFR .45-70 doesn't compromise on mechanical integrity or performance. This is a revolver for shooters who know what they want: no compromise, no compromise.
