The L.E. Wilson Steel Neck Sizer Die Bushing .307 is a precision reloading component built for handloaders who demand tight control over neck tension and case sizing. Made from hardened stainless steel and engineered to work with L.E. Wilson neck-sizing dies, this bushing gives you the fine-tuning capability that separates consistent, accurate loads from mediocre ones. Whether you're a competitive shooter chasing sub-MOA groups or a hunter dialing in a new rifle, proper neck sizing directly affects bullet grip, powder charge consistency, and repeatability—and Wilson's precision bushings let you dial that in.

Wilson manufactures their steel neck bushings in .001" increments, giving you granular control over how much your brass springs back after sizing. The marked diameter (.307) represents the middle of the bushing, which is reamed with a .003" taper. This design lets you size consistently along the contact zone where the case neck actually engages the bushing. For standard sizing, use the bushing marking-side up. If your brass has hardened and lost tension over multiple loadings—or if you need to fine-tune for slightly less squeeze than the next smaller bushing would give—flip the bushing over (markings facing down) to achieve a tighter size without stepping down to a different bushing.

These bushings are manufactured to specifications comparable to Redding neck bushings and are compatible with L.E. Wilson dies. Importantly, they will not work with Forster or RCBS die systems, so verify your die brand before ordering. Proper bushing selection is straightforward: measure your loaded cartridge's outside neck diameter and subtract .002" to .003" to allow for normal brass springback, or calculate from case neck wall thickness and bullet diameter using the two-step formula. This bushing is your ticket to repeatable, predictable neck tension and superior cartridge uniformity.
