The KRISS USA Vector Gen II V2G 9mm Alpine White is a California-compliant semi-automatic rifle built around the company's patented Super V recoil mitigation system. If you're looking for a 9mm platform rifle that manages recoil aggressively while staying legal in restrictive states, the Vector Gen II delivers a mechanically different approach: a closed-bolt delayed blowback system that channels energy downward and rearward through its signature reciprocating chassis. The result is genuinely reduced muzzle rise and felt recoil compared to traditional direct-impingement or short-stroke designs—a real advantage whether you're running drills at an indoor range, setting up a home-defense rifle, or exploring a new caliber platform.

This Alpine White model ships California-legal (10+1 capacity with fixed stock compliance) out of the box. The 16-inch barrel is 4140 chrome moly steel with black nitride (QPQ) finish, topped with a 13-inch MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail for optics and accessories. The rifle weighs 8.7 lbs and measures 36.38 inches overall—handling and stowing like an M4 carbine. Magazine compatibility with Glock G17 magazines means you can share ammunition logistics across platforms. The rifle strips down with four pins and no tools for cleaning or maintenance.

Build quality is methodical: the stock uses advanced polymer composite furniture, the trigger is a pivoting single-stage unit with 5.5-pound pull and positive audible and tactile reset, and the ambidextrous safety lever has a short throw for fast transitions. Flip-adjustable iron sights (front and rear) provide co-witness with optics, and the adjustable M4 stock allows six positions for different shooting positions and gear setups. If you reload or handload 9mm, or simply want to maximize platform commonality in a rifle you actually plan to shoot, the Vector Gen II's mechanics and ergonomics make a strong case.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the KRISS Vector Gen II legal in California?

Yes. This Alpine White model ships with a fixed stock (non-adjustable under California law) and 10+1 capacity, meeting California compliance requirements out of the box.

What magazines does the Vector Gen II use?

The Vector Gen II is compatible with Glock G17 magazines, giving you broad magazine availability and the ability to share ammunition logistics across multiple 9mm platforms if you own Glock pistols.

Can I install a different stock or configure this rifle for other states?

The rifle features an M4-pattern stock adaptor with a DEFIANCE M4 stock. The stock itself is adjustable with six positions for different shooting configurations. For non-California use, consult local and federal law before making any modifications; Bosque Outdoors cannot advise on individual state compliance.

How does the KRISS Super V recoil system work?

The Super V is a patented recoil mitigation system built into the Vector Gen II's delayed blowback action. It channels recoil energy downward and rearward through the rifle's chassis rather than straight back into your shoulder, reducing muzzle rise and perceived recoil significantly compared to conventional 9mm rifle designs.

What's included in the box?

The Vector Gen II ships with low-profile flip-adjustable iron sights, the M4 stock and adaptor installed, and the rifle ready to run with compatible 9mm ammunition and Glock-pattern magazines. Field disassembly requires no tools and uses a four-pin design for quick cleaning.
