The Kel-Tec PMR30 .22 WMR pistol in OD green is a lightweight, high-capacity rimfire handgun built for shooters who want practical plinking, small-game hunting, or training with minimal recoil and affordable ammunition costs. At just 13.6 ounces unloaded, this single-action semi-automatic pairs genuine utility with the kind of no-nonsense ergonomics Kel-Tec is known for. The 30+1 round capacity means fewer mag changes during range sessions, while the .22 Magnum cartridge delivers enough energy for small varmints and provides a low-pressure, low-noise platform for developing accuracy fundamentals.
The PMR30's 4.3-inch barrel sits on a 6.9-inch sight radius, giving you a decent sight picture for target work and casual hunting out to reasonable distances. The OD green finish is understated and practical—no mall-ninja aesthetics here, just a straightforward tool in a color that's become standard for modern sporting arms. At 7.9 inches in length and 5.8 inches in height with a slim 1.3-inch profile, this pistol handles naturally and stows easily, whether you're headed to the range, the cabin, or just want a fun, efficient handgun that won't wear you out after a couple hundred rounds.
The 4- to 6-pound trigger is manageable for most shooters, and the single-action design is reliable and direct. This is the kind of pistol that earns its place in a gear collection not through hype but through honest performance: it does what it's designed to do, it does it well, and it won't break the bank to shoot. If you're looking for a high-capacity rimfire that's light, compact, and honest-to-goodness fun, the PMR30 deserves a serious look.
