Built by Kinetic Development Group and machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, this handguard replaces your factory guard and gives you a full network of M-Lok slots along its entire length—the attachment scheme that lets you mount lights, lasers, grips, rail sections, and other gear exactly where you want them. Whether you're running your SCAR 16s or 17s at the range, in the field, or through a realistic training course, you'll appreciate the flexibility to customize your setup as your mission changes.
The MKII iteration improves on the original MREX design with a step-down in front of the folding sight—a detail shooters specifically requested. The 6.5" length strikes a balance between rail real estate and handling, and the drop-style M-Lok mounting point at the 12 o'clock position is purpose-built for rapid acquisition and use of mounted lights and laser devices. The black anodized finish is durable and matches the look of modern SCAR builds. Everything is manufactured in the USA.
Two M-Lok Picatinny rail sections ship with the handguard, giving you immediate mounting options for optics co-witnesses, backup sights, or other Picatinny accessories. Note that this handguard does not include a Picatinny rail forward of the front sight, so plan your layout accordingly if that's part of your setup.
