The Kak Industry AR-15 LPK Basic Ambi Build Kit gives you the core lower receiver components you need to assemble a custom AR without paying for extras you won't use. If you're building a rifle from a stripped lower and want to keep it simple—and keep costs down—this kit includes the essential parts: bolt catch, magazine catch, takedown and pivot pins with their detents and springs, buffer retainer pin and spring, ambidextrous selector with detent and spring, and hammer and trigger pins. It's a no-filler approach to AR-15 assembly, built around KAK's no-nonsense design philosophy.
The ambidextrous selector is the standout here—it lets you run the safety lever from either side of the receiver, which matters whether you're a lefty, a righty who sometimes shoots from a barricade, or just want flexibility. KAK includes a de-greaser tool and ambi selector screw for installation, plus application of blue Loctite where you need it during assembly to keep things locked in place without over-tightening.
This is a builder's kit, not a complete lower parts kit with grips, buttstock hardware, or other furniture. You'll need a hammer, trigger, and disconnect (not included) to finish the lower—so it's ideal if you're sourcing those parts separately or upgrading with a nicer trigger group down the line.
