If you're looking for a single-stack .45 that fits an ankle holster, jacket pocket, or appendix rig, the PM45's 3.24-inch barrel and 5.79-inch overall length deliver genuine subcompact ergonomics—at 17.3 ounces unloaded, it's light enough for all-day carry without printing. The PM45 uses Kahr's proven trigger-cocking DAO (double-action-only) system: every press is identical, there's no manual safety to remember under stress, and the passive striker block adds a mechanical safety layer that doesn't require a conscious action to engage.

This isn't a gun that tries to be everything. The 5+1 capacity is modest—you get one in the chamber and five in the magazine—but that's the tradeoff for a pistol that vanishes in a waistband. The barrel features polygonal rifling with a 1-in-16.38 right-hand twist optimized for .45 ACP ballistics. Drift-adjustable tritium night sights come standard, so you can aim in low light or at night without relying on a flashlight or sight laser. The slide is matte-blackened stainless steel over a textured polymer frame; the finish is practical and durable, designed to handle pocket lint and body sweat without corrosion.

Kahr's lock-breech design using a Browning-type recoil lug is a time-tested way to manage .45 ACP's impulse in a small frame, and the lack of a magazine disconnect means the gun fires whether or not a magazine is seated—a deliberate design choice that some operators prefer and others avoid. Three magazines ship with the PM45: two 5-round and one 6-round stainless steel magazine, giving you carry and backup options. We only ship firearms to valid Federal Firearms License (FFL) holders. At checkout we provide a FFL locator for your convenience.

We will need a copy of the FFL’s license to facilitate the process, kindly request your dealer to email us a copy of their FFL, as we cannot dispatch the firearm until we receive this document. It is imperative for the buyer to choose their FFL dealer, ensure they are willing to facilitate the transfer, and have them email their FFL copy to BOSQUE Outdoors. To avoid any confusion, the customer's name or order number must be mentioned in the email containing the FFL.

  • Prior to placing an order, it is the buyer's responsibility to understand and adhere to their state's firearm regulations.
  • The buyer should verify with their receiving dealer that the chosen firearm is legally permissible in their state.
  • The buyer is accountable for any transfer fees or background check charges imposed by the receiving dealer. If the designated dealer declines to accept the firearm delivery, the buyer assumes responsibility for shipping costs to retrieve the firearm and resend it to an accommodating dealer.
  • Handguns will be shipped using air transportation, while long guns can be shipped using ground methods. If your order includes a mix of firearm and non-firearm items, BOSQUE Outdoors will send the firearm(s) to your selected FFL dealer and the remaining non-firearm items to your billing address.
  • Firearms cannot be returned to BOSQUE Outdoors; please contact the manufacturer for warranty claims.
  • Firearms refused by the FFL Dealer or which cannot be transferred due to a failed background check are subject to a $75 restocking fee plus 10% of the purchase price.
