Serrated Matte Stainless Steel

The Kahr PM9 9mm pistol is a compact, carry-ready single-stack built for shooters who refuse to compromise between concealability and shootability. At 3.1 inches of barrel length and just 14 ounces, this is the kind of everyday-carry gun that actually works in everyday clothes—no printing, no discomfort, no excuses. The blackened stainless steel slide pairs with a black polymer frame to keep weight down while delivering the durability hunters and defensive shooters expect.

What sets the PM9 apart in the micro-9 category is its trigger and ergonomics. The double-action-only trigger breaks predictably shot after shot, and the Safe Cam Action passive safety system means no external levers to fumble in the dark or under stress. The tritium night sights glow when the lights go out, whether you're hiking back to camp or facing a low-light confrontation. You're looking at 5.3 inches overall—small enough to disappear in a pocket or appendix holster, large enough to actually shoot straight.

The PM9 comes with three magazines: two 6-round tubes with flush baseplates for clean carry profiles, plus a 7-round with a grip extension for a little extra purchase when you actually shoot. That gives you flexibility—max concealment or max control, depending on the mission. The magazine capacity is rated 6+1 or 7+1 in the chamber, so you're never walking around half-loaded.

This is a gun that earns its place in a nightstand drawer or a daily carry rig. No polymer fantasies, no gimmicks—just reliable DA-only operation, thoughtful ergonomics, and the kind of fit and finish that shows Kahr still cares about precision. If you're hunting for a compact 9mm that handles like a gun twice its size, the PM9 deserves a serious look.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the PM9 reliable for daily carry or defensive use?

Yes. The PM9 uses a proven double-action-only design with a safe, predictable trigger break and passive safety system—no external controls to worry about under stress. The tritium night sights are standard, making it ready to perform in low-light situations. Its compact size makes it practical for genuine all-day carry.

How does magazine capacity work with the different mags included?

You get two 6-round magazines with flush baseplates for a clean, compact carry profile, plus one 7-round magazine with a grip extension for additional hand purchase when shooting. Each magazine holds one round in the chamber for a total of 6+1 or 7+1, depending on which mag you're using.

What's the difference between the two magazine styles?

The 6-round flush-baseplate magazines are designed for maximum concealability with no grip extension below the frame. The 7-round magazine includes a grip extension that adds a full finger rest, giving you better control and slightly increased capacity in the same compact footprint.

Can you fit a PM9 in a pocket or typical IWB holster?

At 3.1 inches long, 5.3 inches overall, and 14 ounces, the PM9 is purpose-built for pocket carry and appendix-inside-the-waistband carry. Its slim profile and light weight make it one of the most concealable 9mm options available—easily suitable for cargo pants, dress pants, or t-shirt carry.
