30 Carbine

The Inland M1 Scout .30 Caliber semi-auto carbine carries the DNA of America's most iconic rifle—the M1 Carbine—into a modern, practical platform. Built in the USA by Inland Manufacturing, the Scout merges classic M1 handling and reliability with contemporary accessories support, making it a natural choice for hunters, sport shooters, and collectors who want authentic carbine heritage without compromise on ergonomics or modularity.

The .30 Carbine round remains one of the most efficient and manageable intermediate cartridges ever fielded. Pair that with the M1 Scout's 16.25-inch barrel and 5 lb 3 oz overall weight, and you've got a rifle that swings naturally in brush, performs well at typical hunting and range distances, and doesn't wear you out over a full day afield. The 15-round magazine capacity gives you practical firepower while keeping the platform lean and pointable.

What sets the Scout apart is its modern accessory ecosystem. A threaded 5/8 x 28 tpi flash hider accepts suppressors and other muzzle devices, while an aluminum Picatinney rail handguard opens the door to extended eye relief scout scopes, red dots, magnified optics, or whatever glass suits your mission. The polymer and textured wood stock feels as comfortable as it looks, and the classic controls—push-button safety, adjustable rear sights, and round bolt—are instantly familiar to anyone who's shouldered an M1.

US manufacture, proven ergonomics, real modularity, and a cartridge that punches above its weight: the Inland M1 Scout makes sense whether you're building a truck gun, a ranch rifle, or adding a well-balanced semi-auto to your collection.

Frequently Asked Questions

What optics work with the M1 Scout's Picatinney rail?

The aluminum Picatinney handguard accepts any optic or accessory with a Picatinney mount—including extended eye relief scout scopes, red dot sights, magnified optics, lights, or combination mounts. Choose based on your intended use and eye relief preference.

Can I use a suppressor on the M1 Scout?

Yes. The threaded 5/8 x 28 tpi flash hider is designed to accept suppressors and other threaded muzzle devices with matching specifications.

Is the M1 Scout a good hunting rifle?

The .30 Carbine is effective for hunting medium-sized game at typical hunting ranges. The Scout's 16.25-inch barrel and light weight make it exceptionally easy to handle in brush or when moving through terrain, and the Picatinney rail lets you mount a quality hunting optic or scout scope for accuracy.

What magazines does the M1 Scout use?

The rifle comes with and accepts 15-round detachable magazines chambered in .30 Carbine with the appropriate feed profile.
