The IFG Fair Jubilee Prestige Tartaruga Gold 20GA 28" luxury shotgun is a fine upland and clay shooting piece built for hunters and wingshooters who appreciate craftsmanship and hand-finished details. With its elegant case color receiver adorned with gold accents and ornate sideplates, this 20-gauge combines practical field performance with the aesthetics of a European sporting gun. The 28-inch barrel, single selective trigger, and carefully selected wood furniture make it equally at home on a driven shoot or a quail hunt where style matters as much as substance.
The Fair Jubilee Prestige showcases IFG's attention to detail throughout. A fretworked lever, gloss-finished wood on both stock and forend, and a wood buttplate underscore the gun's premium positioning. The case color reinforced receiver provides a traditional, refined look that develops character over years of use. This is the kind of shotgun that rewards good technique—responsive trigger, balanced handling, and reliable function in the field.
At 20 gauge, you get less recoil than a 12 without sacrificing practical pattern density, making it ideal for hunters seeking a lighter-recoiling option or those who prefer the reduced muzzle blast in open country. If you value heritage European gun-making, hand-finished receivers, and the confidence of a single selective trigger, the Fair Jubilee Prestige Tartaruga Gold deserves a serious look.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is this shotgun best suited for?
The Fair Jubilee Prestige is built for upland game, clay shooting, and hunting situations where you want the lighter recoil of a 20-gauge paired with a gun that reflects European gunmaking tradition and attention to finish. It's an excellent choice for wingshooters who hunt quail, grouse, or dove, or those interested in driven shoots and sporting clays.
Why 20 gauge instead of 12?
The 20-gauge delivers significantly less recoil and muzzle blast than a 12, making it more comfortable for extended shooting days, particularly for hunters seeking less punishment or those in open country where noise matters. Pattern density remains practical for field hunting ranges when properly loaded.
What does case color mean on the receiver?
Case color (or case hardening) is a traditional finish process that creates a multi-hued, mottled appearance on steel—typically blues, purples, browns, and grays. It's highly valued in fine shotguns for both appearance and the protection it offers, though like all traditional finishes it benefits from regular care and oiling.
